Core

CORE Sunday School is a traditional, departmental approach to Bible study. Both graded and ungraded classes are offered. Dynamic bible teaching, outstanding Christian fellowship, and faithful, loving ministry characterize this approach to Sunday School. Core meets at 9:30 a.m., followed by Worship in the Sanctuary at 11:00 a.m.

Venture

VENTURE is our newest approach to Bible Study at First Baptist Church. The Venture strategy uses the experience of praise and worship, exploring Scripture, and genuine community, as catalysts for adults, children, and youth to encounter the Living God while being empowered to live a life of Christian influence and effectiveness. Venture begins each Sunday at 10:50 a.m. in the Chapel with a gathered time of praise and celebration followed by a host of Bible Study options. “Venture Kids” (Babies-Kindergarten) features age appropriate ministry activities for Babies-3 year olds, and Bible Study programming for 4’s and kindergarteners. Worship in the Sanctuary precedes Venture at 9:15 a.m.

Please note that “Venture” Sunday School classes meet first in Wilson Chapel at 10:50 a.m.
