Find Your Spot
Dear Church Family Member:
Are you looking for a place to serve? Find Your Spot!
This form is a valuable source of information, used by our Committee on Committees, as we seek God’s will in who will serve in the various groups that provide leadership in our Church. You will communicate to our team how God is leading you and how He has gifted you in knowledge and experience. Your prompt and prayerful attention is critical for the staffing of all of our committees and teams. Thanks for your help.
ASK ME Ministry
The Ask Me Ministry exists to help visitors to the FBCSA campus find their most direct path to experiencing Christ through this church.
We will fulfill this purpose by covering our campus during Sunday morning activities with team members who are Available, Sociable, and Knowledgable, in order to simplify and facilitate the Sunday morning experience. We will find and provide visitors with whatever information they need, we will anticipate and answer their questions, and we will escort them to their desired programs or services as needed.
ASK ME members will work ONE SUNDAY A MONTH. They will be out in designated areas 15 minutes before and after Bible Study and Worship times, and will therefore be able to attend their own classes and services.
Will you get involved? Contact Kappie Coffee at 210.226.0363 or email her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
As a group of servant-leaders, the FBCSA deacon body exists to lead, assist and support FBCSA in making disciples for the Lord Jesus Christ.
The heritage of deacon service goes back to New Testament times. The deacons serve the Lord by serving the congregation of First Baptist Church San Antonio. The office of deacon is not one of authority. It is a commitment of service.

Yes, Lord! – Serving our Community
Yes, Lord! Teams seek to transform the lives of people in our community through compassionate service. As we serve, our lives are transformed as well!
Explore the various ministry teams available below and say, "Yes, Lord!" Join a team and serve for the glory of God and the good of others!
Acts 1:8 says, “but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be My witnesses, both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.”
First Baptist’s Missions ministry involves mission education, short term national trips, short term international trips, and in some cases long term mission involvement. Our Mission Statement is : "Our purpose is to sponsor, support, and develop mission opportunities for our church to share Jesus with the world resulting in changed hearts, renewed compassion and new callings to His service. "
Each mission trip is weighed against this statement in order to maintain our focus. The mission ministry at First Baptist is involved in praying for and participation in sharing the gospel around the world. Our desire is to create a mindset for missions involvement in every believer's heart.
If you are interested in receiving more information regarding our trips this year, either as a missionary or prayer warrior, click on the link below. If you are interested in seeing what has been done in the past on various trips, please go to the Missions Blog in the far right column.
