Re:Verse: Fall 2025 Series
2 PETER – Standing Firm in the Faith
False and destructive teachings threatened the early church just as they do today. In his final letter, likely written from a Roman prison before his martyrdom, the apostle Peter urged believers to remain steadfast in the truth of the Gospel.
2 Peter warns us to be watchful—rejecting error and immorality—and calls us to anchor our hope in Christ’s promises. As we face cultural pressures and spiritual challenges, this letter reminds us that God’s truth is unshakable and His promises certain.
May we stand firm, endure faithfully, and rejoice in the eternal inheritance we have in Jesus.
