PROVERBS: The Way of Wisdom
From the very beginning, Adam and Eve were made as image bearers to live by [the way of wisdom]. Proverbs is an invitation to return to God’s original plan to live wisely in his world, even with all life’s flaws. It mostly consists of hundreds of very general, short, wise sayings that advise us to live in God’s way and illustrate consequences when we don’t. Over the next thirteen weeks, we will be challenged not just to think about God’s way but actually live them out; anything less wouldn’t be wise.
