Food Drive & Delivery
Through November 20

There’s nothing quite like gathering around a table and enjoying food, family, and friends at Thanksgiving. However, this holiday some families are struggling to put food on their table. Maybe some of you are wondering if your family and friends can gather around a table in person.

FBCSA is offering the opportunity to share your time and resources and gather around 160 tables! No, we aren’t asking you to physically enter people’s homes. Instead, through your gift of finances and/or time you can give 160 families a reason to look to the Savior for the blessings they receive. We have the opportunity to minister to Burmese families, Afghan families, Foster/Kinship families, and Local San Antonio families that are in need. Are you ready to join Community Missions? Let’s be the Family of God to those without a family!

Pack Food
Join us on Saturday, November 20, 8am-11am in the Fellowship Hall, to help pack all the food items in individual bags.

Delivery Day
Also, on Saturday, November 20, volunteer to serve curbside, running carts and reloading them, and loading up cars.

Delivery Teams**
Teams will deliver to 2 - 3 families and socially distance love on them. Assignments will be given in advance so your family can pray for these families. You will also need to call to confirm they will be home on Saturday, November 20. Food items can be picked up on the 20th between 11am and 1pm. Delivery could take up to 2 hours depending on locations of families.

**Delivery team individuals must be able-bodied, prepared to walk, carry boxes, and go up stairs.

Volunteer Here!

In order to expedite purchasing and to have uniform boxes for each family, we are only collecting financial donations this year. As noted on the sign-up form, donations will be collected in the following groupings:
$15 - Will purchase meat (chicken/turkey/ham) for one Family Box
$25 - Will purchase produce or side dishes for one Family Box
$50 - Will cover the cost of one Family Box for a family of four

Donate here!

All financial donations must be given by November 20.

If your Bible study class or small group would like to donate food items directly, please contact Byron at for a list of options.

Yum! We need pies (store bought; non-refrigerated) for 160 teachers at Briscoe Elementary and Green Elementary. Feel free to write a note of encouragement to go with the pie.
Pies should be brought to the church on Wednesday, November 17 to the table in Great Hall.
