Breakout 2: Engaging God's Mission Where You Live, Work & Play
Missionally minded people must learn how to lovingly engage people in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd places that we inhabit. In this breakout, Brad will discuss the topics of biblical hospitality in & through our homes (1st place), understanding how God has placed us in a vocation for His missional purposes (2nd place), and what it means to identify, create, and support 3rd Places in our communities.

Curt Hale
Minister to Preschool, Elementary, Student, & Marriage Ministries Rush Creek Church Arlinton, Tx

Breakout 1: A Parent's First Ministry: Training Leaders to Help Parents
Christ-following parents often have vibrant, growing spiritual lives, yet struggle to pass along their faith to the ones who most need to be led—the children in their home. In this breakout Curt will analyze the four reasons Christian parents neglect to spiritually disciple their kids, and aim to equip Bible study leaders in ways to encourage them to overcome those barriers through simple and practical means. Ultimately, the first ministry for all parents is to lead their homes well for the glory of God. Through seizing and creating opportunities for faith talks, we can devote ourselves to raising spiritual champions for Christ.

Breakout 2: Speaking Your Child’s Language
The language we use is incredibly important in engaging our children in spiritual truth. During this time we will learn about the developmental needs of kids from newborns to teenagers and how to communicate faith to the next generation in a way they can receive it. We will also look at the changes kids undergo in adolescence and the dramatic effect those changes have on their understanding of the Gospel. This information is vital for parents to understand in order to guide their children well through the difficult stages of growing up.
