Lessons & Carols
Sunday, December 20
6:00 PM • Sanctuary
Lessons & Carols is a worship service of Scripture readings, congregational singing, and Advent and Christmas carols that are all woven together to remember and retell the Biggest Story: Creation, the Fall, our Redemption in Christ, and the promise of New Creation. This year's theme, Shadows, invites us to trace God's promises through the darkness of a fallen world to the coming of Jesus Christ, the Light of the World. Even the manger casts the shadow of the cross, reminding us that Christ came to redeem His people and make all things new.
In the midst of the busy Advent and Christmas seasons, join us as we slow down to behold the mystery of the Incarnation, the beauty of Christ, and the hope of a coming day when night will be no more.
