Lessons & Carols is a worship service that combines moments of Scripture and liturgical readings with music and congregational singing to tell the story of God’s saving work—from Creation and humanity’s fall to the coming of Christ and the promise of new creation. This service provides a simple and meaningful opportunity to slow down during the Advent season, reflect on the message of Christ’s birth, and worship together as a church family. This year’s theme, “A Weary World Rejoices,” invites us to bring both our weariness and our hope before the God who came to dwell among us and to pray for a world still longing to know the joy of Christ.
